Affiliate Terms
These terms cover how KantoPay passes a commission on to you when a game server owner gives you an affiliate code. They are between you and KantoPay ("we", "us"). In these terms the "creator" is the game server owner who runs the store, not you. You are the "Affiliate".
1. What this is
A creator on KantoPay gave you an affiliate code and a share link. When a buyer pays through that link, the creator owes you the commission they set. These terms cover how we pass that commission on. KantoPay is the seller of what the buyer buys. You don't sell anything to the buyer.
2. Your claim
A creator invites you by email, and that is the only address that can claim the code. Claiming links the code to your KantoPay account. Your account must use that address, it must be verified, and you must be at least 18. You can't claim a code for a store you own or help run. The creator sees the email address they invited and whether you have accepted.
You have two links. The share link is the one you post. The private link opens your earnings page: it is yours, so do not share it. Anyone who has the private link can see the code's sales, but only the invited address can claim the code. If your link leaks, ask the creator to send you a new invite.
3. What you are paid
You are paid the rate the creator set, on what the buyer paid after refunds, and never more than what the creator received for that sale.
Only sales made through the code's share link count. A code typed at checkout earns nothing. A link lasts 30 days on the buyer's device and the latest link wins. If the buyer enters another code, that code replaces yours and the sale earns nothing.
We move the commission from the creator's balance to yours when the hold on that sale ends, about 8 days after the sale.
4. When you are not paid, or not yet
We move a commission only when the creator's identity is verified and their balance can cover it. Until then it waits, and your dashboard says so. We do not advance it, and KantoPay does not owe it to you unless and until we have moved it. It is the creator's debt.
Sales made before the code was first claimed count only if they were made in about the 8 days before that claim. Sales made before KantoPay began paying affiliate codes are never paid by KantoPay.
5. After a refund
A commission that has already moved to you stays yours if the sale is refunded later. A commission that has not moved is reduced, or cancelled by a full refund.
6. Your balance
Your balance is a record of what we owe you. It is not a deposit, e-money or a payment account, and it earns no interest. Once a commission has moved, you may cash it out at any time, from your own dashboard, to an account in your own name. The one pause is the 48 hours after you change your mobile number, which protects your account. Each cash-out costs ₱10, with an extra 0.5% for an international Wise payout, and needs a confirmation code. We ask for your legal name and date of birth first.
If you earn only from affiliate codes, you do not need an ID check, and the ₱5,000 limit in clause 6(c) of the Creator Agreement does not apply to you. If you also run a store on KantoPay, the Creator Agreement's rules on verification and limits apply to your account.
7. When a claim ends
The creator can turn a code off, so new sales stop counting, or move it to another email, or send a new invite. Either of those ends your claim. A commission that has already moved stays yours. A commission that has not moved when your claim ends does not stay with you: it waits for whoever claims the code next.
We may stop a claim, or hold a payment, for suspected fraud, abuse or a legal reason.
8. Your taxes
You are responsible for your own tax registration, records and returns. We may report what we pay you where the law requires it, and may ask for tax details.
9. You are independent
You are not KantoPay's employee, agent or partner, and you do not speak for KantoPay. Say clearly when you are paid to promote a store.
10. Contact and changes
Email support@kantopay.com. We email you at least 15 days before a change to these terms takes effect. We handle your personal data under our Privacy Policy.
