Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of KantoPay (the "Platform"), operated from the Philippines. KantoPay lets game-server owners ("Creators", "you") list digital in-game goods that we buy and resell to players ("Buyers") and help deliver in-game. These Terms cover general use of the Platform; if you are a Creator, your commercial relationship with us (the buy-sell, fees, payouts, tax and disputes) is governed by the separate Creator Agreement. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.
• You must operate a legitimate game server or business and provide accurate account and payout information.
• You are responsible for keeping your PIN and account secure, and for all activity under your account.

2. The service

KantoPay provides a no-code storefront builder, hosted checkout, payment collection (via our payment partners), an in-platform wallet, payouts, and automated in-game delivery. Under the Creator Agreement, KantoPay buys digital goods from Creators and resells them to Buyers as merchant of record — we are the seller to the Buyer, we process payments, and we handle applicable tax. Your fees, payouts, tax and dispute terms as a Creator are set out in the Creator Agreement.

3. Your responsibilities

• Gaming-only restriction: use KantoPay solely to sell lawful digital in-game goods (e.g. ranks, kits, cosmetics, in-game currency, prepaid gift cards) directly connected to your game server. You are explicitly forbidden from using the Platform to sell physical goods, unrelated real-world services, or any products outside this gaming scope (see the Acceptable Use Policy).
• Describe your items accurately, including the price and exactly what the Buyer receives.
• Ensure your server can actually deliver what you sell, and honour every completed purchase.
• Comply with all applicable laws and with the rules and EULAs of the games you operate (including Mojang/Microsoft and other publishers' commercial-use guidelines).
• Provide your Buyers with support and a clear refund/cancellation policy consistent with Section 7.

4. Prohibited goods and conduct

You may not use KantoPay to sell or facilitate: gambling, betting, lotteries, or real-money-out games of chance; real-money trading prohibited by a game's terms; illegal, stolen, counterfeit, or infringing items; weapons, drugs, or other regulated goods; adult content involving minors; or anything that violates law or a payment partner's rules. You may not engage in fraud, money laundering, or use the Platform to process payments unrelated to your store.

5. Fees and commercial terms

KantoPay is free to set up. We earn a margin on each sale plus the payment provider's processing fee for the method used, and a flat disbursement fee on each cash-out. The exact fees, the Trade Price (reseller) model, tax, and how amounts are deducted are governed exclusively by the Creator Agreement; current rates are shown on our pricing page and may change with notice. If anything in these Terms differs from the Creator Agreement on any commercial matter — fees, payouts, tax, holds, or dispute liabilities — the Creator Agreement controls.

6. Payouts and wallet

Net proceeds from your sales are credited to your KantoPay wallet, which you can cash out to your nominated GCash or Philippine bank account. The detailed terms for your wallet, payouts, verification tiers, holds, reserves, and fund reversals are set out exclusively in the Creator Agreement.

7. Purchases, delivery, and refunds

Goods sold on KantoPay are digital and delivered automatically once payment clears. Philippine law gives no cooling-off period for digital goods, so a correctly-delivered, as-described item is not refundable for a change of mind — but this does not limit Buyers' statutory rights under the Consumer Act (RA 7394) and the Internet Transactions Act (RA 11967). As merchant of record, KantoPay is the seller to the Buyer and carries the consumer-refund obligation — re-delivery, replacement, or refund for non-delivery, double or wrong charges, and defective or not-as-described items — as set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Where a refund or chargeback relates to your product, it may be debited from your wallet under the Creator Agreement.

8. Payment processing

Payments are processed by our third-party, BSP-licensed payment partner(s). Your and your Buyers' use of those services is also subject to the partner's terms. Sensitive card data is handled by the processor and is not stored by KantoPay.

9. Intellectual property

KantoPay and its branding are owned by us. You retain ownership of your store content and grant us a licence to host and display it to operate the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you upload.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, KantoPay is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses arising from Buyer disputes, game-publisher actions, or events beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, or legal/payment-partner requirements. You may stop using the Platform at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive (fees owed, liability, disputes) survive termination.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines.
