Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 20 June 2026

Working draft · private beta. Not our final policy — we'll finalize it before public launch.

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") forms part of, and is incorporated into, our Terms of Service and Creator Agreement. It sets out what may not be sold, listed, delivered, or done on KantoPay. If there is any conflict, the Terms of Service and Creator Agreement govern. Breaching this AUP may lead us to remove content, withhold or refuse payment, and suspend or terminate your account.

1. Prohibited goods and conduct

You may not use KantoPay to sell or facilitate: gambling, betting, lotteries, or loot-box / chance-based mechanics regulated or prohibited under Philippine law (including PAGCOR rules) or applicable foreign law; real-money trading prohibited by a game's terms; illegal, stolen, counterfeit, infringing, obscene, misleading or defamatory items; weapons, drugs, or other regulated goods; adult content involving minors; or anything that violates the law or a payment partner's rules. You may not engage in fraud, money laundering, or use the Platform to process payments unrelated to your store.

2. Authorised scope of use (gaming goods only)

KantoPay is built exclusively to sell digital in-game goods and services tied directly to an approved game server — ranks, kits, cosmetics, in-game currency, or server-specific prepaid gift cards. You may not use your KantoPay storefront, Webstore, or payment gateway to list, advertise, sell, or process payment for anything unrelated to authorised gaming, including but not limited to:

  • Physical goods: clothing, merchandise, hardware, or any tangible item requiring shipping or physical delivery.
  • Unrelated digital products: e-books, general software, design files, or crypto assets / NFTs unrelated to the game server.
  • Real-world services: freelance work, programming, coaching or tutoring outside the game, or real-life event tickets.
  • Financial facilitation: using the storefront purely for peer-to-peer money transfers, cash loans, crowdfunding, or blind donations / tips where no concrete in-game good or server utility is delivered to the Buyer.

Any attempt to use KantoPay for non-gaming e-commerce will result in immediate removal of the listings, suspension of the storefront, and a freeze on withdrawal of the associated funds.

3. Game and publisher rules

You may only supply digital goods you are entitled to sell that comply with the terms, EULA and rules of the relevant game or platform. You must not supply — and we may immediately remove and refuse to pay for — any digital good that:

  • breaches the EULA, terms or rules of the game or platform it relates to, or helps anyone else do so;
  • is or enables cheats, hacks, exploits, botting, automation or other tools the game or platform prohibits;
  • is in-game currency, accounts, items or assets obtained through real-money trading, gold-farming, fraud, account theft, chargebacks or other unauthorised or unlawful means, or that the game or platform hasn't authorised you to sell.

4. Fee circumvention

You may not use KantoPay Webstores or your Creator Portal to redirect Buyers to external payment methods, post direct e-wallet QR codes (e.g. GCash, Maya), share personal bank details, or otherwise circumvent KantoPay's checkout process and fee structure. All sales originating from, advertised on, or facilitated through your KantoPay storefront must be processed exclusively through the Platform's checkout. Attempting to bypass the KantoPay payment gateway while using our hosting, storefronts, or delivery infrastructure is a material breach and will result in the immediate suspension of your account and the forfeiture of pending payouts.

5. Enforcement

We may remove any listing, withhold or refuse payment for any order, and suspend or terminate accounts that breach this AUP — with or without notice where needed to protect Buyers, us, our payment partners, or third parties. Repeat or serious breaches may be reported to the relevant authorities or rights holders. Intellectual-property complaints, takedowns and repeat-infringer handling are dealt with under the Creator Agreement.
